YOU SHOULD GO TO NO OTHER INSPECTOR EXCEPT JOHN FLAMISH! He was the exemplary professional! I really cannot put in enough adjectives to describe his excellence but he was very fastidious, thorough, and knowledgeable. It was like having your father who is an inspector inspecting the home of his favorite child! He was checking every nook and cranny, every plug, corner, hinge, light, siding, etc. as if it was his own home purchase. He took his time, and he answered every question with expertise. We are picky people but he was looking at items and issues that we didn't even think about. I can go on and on and on, but let me just finish with the fact that he was early and he even brought Dunkin Donuts as a treat for us. What more can I say? 5 stars is not enough to describe John Flamish, but write his name down for the next time that you have to do a home inspection. Our experience with Johnny Flamish as the inspector was seamless from start to finish! They were responsive, organized, detailed, and timely throughout every step of the way. They were always quick to follow up via email and flexible when we needed to reschedule the inspection to a different date and time. Johnny was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain things to us throughout the inspection and share helpful tips and tricks and knowledge, which I especially appreciated as a first-time home-buyer. John Flamish is an outstanding inspector! We are so grateful to have worked with John. His thoroughness, professionalism, and kindness are unmatched. We’ve worked with other home inspectors before, but none has been so thoughtful as to greet us with donuts for our early morning weekend inspection! When a family member had questions after the inspection, he was so generous with his time that he spoke to him and answered all his questions (even though that family member wasn’t buying or living in the inspected property!). It’s clear customer service and well-informed, satisfied buyers are John’s top priority. We are confident we can continue to go to John with questions, including checking price quotes for repairs. As a first time home purchaser, I am on edge. The house looks good, most of the things that I can see are all right, but what about what I can’t see? What about what I don’t even know to look for? Enter John Flamish from Insight Home Inspections. Thorough is not a fitting description of what this man is when he’s inspecting your home, and as nice as they get too. He broke down every facet of the home, and let us know what needed maintenance, what needed to be replaced, likely lifetimes for all of the major pieces (roof, HVAC, etc) and how to proceed with fixing, maintenance, and what to do moving forward. I cannot recommend strongly enough to use John for your home inspections. My mind is able to relax thanks to this inspection, and that is more than worth every penny I paid!

I will start by saying John Flamish is simply amazing. I am in my 20s buying my first home, and frankly I do not know much about homes. I was a bit nervous, so my wife and I did a bunch of research on home inspections. I came with all my questions and potential concerns. Not only does he answer all of them without me mentioning it, but he equips you with knowledge to deal with ALL of it in the limited time of the inspection. Additionally, the inspection for a small amount of money is worth a lifetime. The document you receive can be used for home improvements or repairs as a supplementary guide to your unique home, and Mr. Flamish makes certain it is all encompassing…with pictures. I love it. Our experience with Johnny Flammish was superb. My wife and I had never had an inspection done before, but the expertise displayed by the company was excellent. You could tell that Johnny really knew his stuff. Our realtor was so impressed, that he even asked for his information. Johnny went the extra mile for us to really explain everything and break it down in terms we could understand. There was a major issue with sitting water from the rain and Johnny even offered to talk to our construction manager directly to really bring it to the builders attention. Johnny was our inspector and we felt he was very thorough and trustworthy. We weren’t able to be at the inspection in person, but Johnny put our minds at ease when we met him over FaceTime during the inspection and spoke with him via phone twice after - once as he was leaving the house to explain his findings and a second time when we had questions about the report. He delivered the report to us quickly and we really appreciated how everything was coded by urgency and came with suggested course of action. Johnny was very friendly and happy to answer any of our questions. We felt he was very knowledgeable and professional and would recommend him to anyone needing a thorough, reliable inspection!

Our inspector was John Flamish. He arrived early and conducted a thorough inspection of the property, which is exactly what we wanted given it was an older structure. He walked us through each of the issues, discussed resolutions and potential costs. He also answered numerous questions that we asked and conducted additional tests of areas where we had concerns. We are very pleased with John’s work, know what we need to do and the best way to address the mostly minor issues found, and received an initial report within an hours of concluding the physical inspection. As first time home buyers the process can be quite daunting. Our realtor recommended iur inspector, John. He was extremely thorough covering every inch of our new home and helping explain every detail along the way. From talking us through what repairs would need to happen when to helping demystify how the major systems worked and how we can best provide ongoing maintenance. John went above and beyond (literally on the roof) as we spent three hours examining our new home, which by all accounts is in great shape. Thank you again! You know you are in the presence of an expert when you hire John Flamish. John was in our home for almost 8 hours, executing a thorough and precise, well documented and detailed inspection. He even offers a zoom or in-person meeting to review, explain and answer any questions regarding the report. It would be prudent to any homeowner to have an inspection as a preventative maintenance report; the inspection is inexpensive compared to major repairs. If you are buying or selling or want to know the health of your current home, I highly recommend John Flamish, a delightfully nice guy.

John Flamish did a thorough inspection at a property I am purchasing. He graciously agreed to walk through every step with my cousin who had never bought a home before.
