John Flamish, founder and lead inspector of Trinity River Home Inspections, is a retired Class A Builder who began his career as a home inspector in 2017. John is licensed in multiple states (Texas, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia) delivering over 4,500 inspections. With his extensive experience, he knows what goes into building a home, remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, and how a home’s major systems should operate. This allows him to quickly identify and effectively communicate issues of immediate concern versus those of deferred or routine maintenance. John shares his inspection findings in a calm, non-alarmist manner while avoiding intimidating industry jargon. He enjoys partnering with real estate professionals helping first time buyers and seasoned homeowners make better decisions and become better stewards of their home.

Trinity River Home Inspections provides a comprehensive home inspection report to help identify issues big and small, from deferred maintenance to potential costly repairs, such as aging water heaters or HVAC units. Home inspectors are considered Generalists. During a normal inspection, we must evaluate hundreds of items throughout the house, from the apex of the roof down to the foundation and all systems inside and out. We do find instances where our inspector will recommend a specialized review by a licensed trade professional such as an electrician, plumber and/or roofer.
